Media Gallery doesn't work

Uploading files to the media library doesn't allow you to create a Gallery anymore.

In 2.7 when uploadig several pictures, a Gallery tab was created and you could insert a Gallery into your post.

Thw Gallery tab doens't show up in 2.8RC1 (nor the betas)

If you click "Save All changes" after uploading, It directs you to the gallery tab from which you can insert a gallery..

As dd32 suggested you have to click "Save all changes" to go to the Gallery tab, hopefully after proper titles are entered for the uploaded images.

well...that's the problem.

clicking "save all changes" doesn't show the gallery tab.

it just empties the tab, still on first tab.

reverting to 2.7 branch it works just as dd32 says.

Disable all plugins, and clear your browser cache and try again. Its not a WordPress bug as its working the way described.

westi just confirmed this, It only happens if you attempt to attach to a Draft post, before the first autosave(ie. the title and body are empty)
