It would be nice to ever display the "Gallery Settings" Section on the gallery tab, even if only one image exists. That would help if you talk via phone and explain someone something. Often from-sections are helpfull to validate wether or not the other is on the same page as you are while explaining something.

+1 If I'm reading this right, hakre is asking to always see the options to insert a gallery short code with sorts and columns.
