Problem configuring RSS widgets in Dashboard for 1st time

Description

When you install new blog, RSS widgets in Dashboard shows titles only. But when you try to configure them, all 3 checkboxes (display item content, author and date) are checked. This happens until you save config for 1st time - later they work as expected.

I know you said RSS widgets in general, but I could only find this to be the case for the secondary widget (the planet feed). Can you confirm? If [13959] fixes it, please close as fixed.

  • Keywords needs-patch removed
  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

[13959] fixed it in 2.9.* and 3.0. Other RSS widgets aren't affected.
