Option to always open outbound links in new window/tab

There should be an option to make outbound links always open in a new window/tab.
What do you think about that one?

Are you referring to admin links, or links in the theme? Either can be achieved with JavaScript. Or even better, don't override browser defaults, and instead allow the user to open it in a new window only if they so desire.

We don't deal with the theme, and in the case of the admin, we have no desire to add an option for this. We've also had numerous discussions in the past about where links should open, and the status quo is what we wish to maintain.
