Description
Ryan noted that jQuery 1.4.4 is due in early November.

We should be good citizens and drop it in trunk. It should also hopefully fix some of the 1.4.3 issues we've seen.
Suggesting we commit the development version, http://code.jquery.com/jquery-git.js, and then upon release we'd convert it to their official minified version. This should also allow us to debug issues as appropriate.

Attached patch updating our jQuery to the just released jQuery 1.4.4 final:
http://blog.jquery.com/2010/11/11/jquery-1-4-4-release-notes/
(This time I remembered to add the noConflict bit at the end! :- Yay!)
The issue with adding categories (#15201, mentioned above by Viper007Bond and scribu) seems to be fixed in 1.4.4 final.

Would make sense in my opinion too! :) +1
