Description

The TinyMCE rich editor component doesn't work for me: I can't edit text inside it. I'm using Firefox 1.0.6

Linux 2.6.11-cko1 Xorg 6.8.2 Firefox 1.0.6 + AdBlock, Greasemonkey, enabled JavaScript

the problem is fixed in Firefox 1.5 Beta 1

Apparently it was an OS-specific browser bug, possibly config related; a flash in the pan. FF 1.0.6+ can use the editor on many other platforms, including Linux flavors. Unless someone comes forward with some debug data, this should be closed.
