autocomplete changes case of first letter of username

Description

When I try to upgrade a plugin automatically using the "Connect Information" page, the username input changes the first letter of my username to upper-case rendering it useless. This occurs in Firefox 3.612 and Chrome 7.0.517.44.

Isn't this your browser?

I'm not sure if turning off autocomplete for that field makes the most sense. (Though I guess it's not a bad idea.)

It's your browser, You'll probably need to check your autocomplete settings to trust your input..
