Make parent page not clickable?

I can see in some cases that the parent page will contain good information but when I make a menu for the pages of my games the parent page is clickable and that is no good thing. So I think it is a good addition to get a function at the head page: 'Open menu only' where the sub pages.

I guess I'd create a custom link with a # character for URL and use that as a parent item. Or do you have “Automatically add new top-level pages” option enabled?
