I've been using Wordpress more and more as a general framework and I am using it to create more of a social site than a blog. It occured to me that it would be nice to have custom visibilities. For example, If there are multiple users, and each has friends, and wants to create a post that he/she only wants to show friends, the post could have a custom visibility type called ""shared"" or something.

This is something which can be done easily with a custom post status as well as custom fields, but to me it would make sense logically to make it a custom post visibility.
