Example: ​http://wordpress.org/search/menu_name?forums=1

Code blocks in the snippet of search results are escaped, giving you &lt; and &gt; instead of < and >.

This also happens on the activity stream on user profile pages. Example from ​http://profiles.wordpress.org/users/sidewindernet/:
