Make 2011 search box wider to accomodate longer placeholders

Description

In locales where the translation of Search is shorter or equal to the original, everything is OK. When it is longer, though, the placeholder gets cut off. I attach a tentative patch.

I agree the search box is too short. The animation to open up to a longer length seems gratuitous to me in general, but either way the short inactive box is too cramped.

A 72px width for the inactive search box looks good to me.
