I have a plugin with "Stable tag: 2.2.1" in trunk/readme.txt, yet version 2.2.2-alpha is offered for download:

After ​bumping the readme, everything seems to go back to normal.

Doubtful, the web servers were only migrated this morning.

I have never seen this reported. Race condition, perhaps?

A back-burner project right now is to completely rewrite how zips are built, which should solve quite a bit of our problems.
