On IE compatible mode，the page display is not normal.

I see the same in IE 7. Also mentioned in ticket:21598:66.

According to ticket:21598:67, one of the latest patches there handles this.

Can this be closed in favor of #21598 (buttons) or is there another issue you are seeing?

I guess so. Not sure why Twenty Twelve was mentioned in comment:3 though. Haven't noticed any IE7-specific issues there yet other than #22044.
