All the controls disappear, meaning you can't apply any formatting and - more importantly - you can't save your content or exit fullscreen mode.

Not sure what would be best:
 1. Don't autohide the controls at all on touch devices.
 2. Autohide the controls but add a toggle button which shows up on touch devices to toggle the controls on again.
