    55- I'm honestly not sure if I'm helping or hindering the progress of this task by posting this patch (i.e. I think I'm in over my head ;-)) 
    6 - This patch includes [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/23450/23450.1.diff 23450.1.diff]​ as a base.  It's not super clean, but what can you do? 23450.1.diff​ relies on 23449.1.diff, and 23449.1.diff has yet to be committed...
