Description
There is no featured image included on the single view of a post.
This seems like an oversight and feels like a mistake to me, but the code that causes it is so deliberate; perhaps I've missed a design decision?..
They're such beautiful featured images on the blog listing, let's keep them for the single view :)

Will loop back with Joen, then based on the design decision loop back and closed as "worksforme" or else we'll fix it up.
Let me revert my opinion. We show post thumbnails on single pages. Might as well show it on single posts then.

Agreed the single post view should be consistent with 1) pages and 2) index view for posts.

It is indeed deliberate. While I don't feel strongly about it, I'd personally prefer to leave it as is.
Post Thumbnails are supposed to be a "representative image for Posts, Pages or Custom Post Types" - I don't think posts need representation on single.
