DBX Cookies Not Cross Version Compatible

Very minor, but could raise questions in support. I have noticed that the DBX cookies are not compatible from version 2.0.4 and 2.1, when the two versions are installed in sub-directories on the same domain. It actually causes javascript to error out and not load anymore javascript (which disables AJAX for category adds).

IE:

localhost/204
localhost/21
If I got into write on 21, once I go to write on 204, DBX no longer works because of the cookie issue. The expand/contract (+/-) icons are not even displayed.

I have noticed this issue in both IE 6 and FF 1.5.0.7 running apache 2.2 php 5+ on Linux and Windows.
