exclude parentheses from translatable strings

Move out parentheses if they just embrace a translatable string. It is very easy for translators to forget them out of the translation.

Looks good to me.

Better formatting of the code IMO (spaces added)

I'm not too keen on excluding context. Translators should be free to eliminate the parens if they are not appropriate to the locale.

I also see less reason for this now, after some time had passed.
