With Classic Theme Enabled, New Version Banner is Unreadable

Description

When the 'Classic' theme is enabled in the backend, the banner that pops up at the top of the page notifying the user of a new WP version ("WordPress x.x is available! Please update now.") is hard to read. The text is light blue and the banner background color is pale yellow, although the linktext is visible.

Firefox 2, Mac OSX 10.4 (but I'm guessing it's a cross-browser problem related to CSS).
