Unable to make the gallery directly link to large thumbnails instead of full size images

The full size images are like 5-10MB, so it takes hell of a long time to load. I'd prefer to make it link directly to the large thumbnails which are like 100-200KB.

I thought that the gallery normally links to a page with the large thumbnail image on it.

At the moment you can choose between linking to a page with the medium thumbnail and linking directly to the full size image.

I want to link directly to the large thumbnail.

Are you talking about when you click the thumbnail it takes you to another thumbnail or are you wanting to be able to put the large thumbnail in your post?

You can specify a max size if yours is too large. Else, link to the attachment's page (with a special template for it).
