get_calendar showing posts for all subsequent months and not just current month

Description

Changeset 10602 added the behaviour that get_calendar shows all posts for the current month and those that follow it when only those for the current month should be included. I have added a patch for this.

There were some problems even with this patch applied so I reverted the get_calendar() changes from [10602] for now.
