Trackbacks to Serendipity don't work out of the box

Description
Just while working with workaround I just noticed that I've almost forgotten to create a ticket for another problem. It is the other way round than ticket #10028
If I want to send a trackback to a Serendipity blog I've been having problems to get a trackback. But I found a way to get it working:
I link to the blog in the post as usual for a WP blog. Additionally I copy the trackback-address of the serendipity post in the field trackbacks.
If I do it like this I get the link in my post and the trackback as a comment in the serendipity blog.
It is working this way, but one has to know it and I expected it working by the automatic function like the trackback to a WordPress-Blog.

Please be so kind to stop opening dups of the same bug.
In my opinion it is not the same bug, that is the reason why I opened a new bug:
10010 no outgoing trackbacks are working
10028 incoming trackbacks from serendipity don't work (incoming from WP-Blogs work)
10040 outgoing trackbacks to serendipity only work with a workaround, while outgoing
trackbacks to WordPress Blogs are working without any problem
Please be so kind to stop opening dups of the same bug.
