Problem with dotclear import

Dotclear categories are imported but not assigned to the posts.

Bonjour,

Ayant souhaité le passage de mon blog dotclear en wordpress, j’ai
donc

utilisé votre module d’import dans l’interface d’administration.

J’ai rencontré le problème suivant :

  •          les catégories des mes billets étaient bien importées

mais n’étaient pas liées à ces derniers.

J’ai donc contacté votre staff par l’intermédiaire de votre site mais

sans succès.

J’ai du coup développé un petit fichier php pour résoudre mon

problème.
Les versions utilisées pour mon développement :

  •          WORDPRESS 2.8
  •          DOTCLEAR 1.2.7.1

Adapted from French:

While importing my Dotclear blog (v1.2.7.1) intro WordPress using the included importing tool, I stumbled upon the following issue: my posts' categories where indeed imported into the WP blog, but they were not linked to the posts.

Finding no help on forums, I coded a small PHP file to solve the issue. I submit it to your consideration.

Note that Dotclear is 1.2.x is an old branch of that blogging tool. It is no longer developed, and ​user support will be dropped in August 2009 (documentation, forum, ...). The latest version for this branch is 1.2.8, which was released on ​April 18th, 2008.

Latest and best version of Dotclear is ​v2.1.5, and any change to the DC import tool should make sure not to break importing for more recent versions of DC.

suggesting we close this and #10260 as wontfix. the patches are in French and I'm assuming the dotclear importer works with a recent version of dotclear.

I've asked the original reporter to test the behavior of the importer from a DC2 blog. Hopefully it will show it does work then. In the meantime, let's wait.

Note: reporter initially contact the FR community, proposing his patch. I pointed him into the Trac direction. Further information from him will surely be in English.
