#10601 closed enhancement (wontfix)

Extend editor's UI to edit rel attribute for links

Description

Currently the only way to add rel attribute to links in posts is to edit <a> tag in HTML view. I would like to see additional field in the Insert/Edit Link editor popup dialog - it will be really useful for quick adding rel="nofollow" to some links.

Some of the TinyMCE plugins are not included by default in WordPress. Among them is the Advanced Link plugin that would let you add rel and quite a few more advanced settings. It is available as part of several WordPress plugins.
