Description

After reading the security threat posts on mashable about previous wordpress version being vulnerable, I just upgraded to wordpress 2.8.4 and the plugins page does not display itself.

This is the error message I get

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/public_html/wp-includes/kses.php(413) : runtime-created function on line 1

The url i am visiting is plugins.php

This is not due specifically to the upgrade.

Your PHP install has a memory limit of 32MB, Your WordPress install requires more than this.

There are a few options:

  1. you've got some plugins loaded which are using a lot of memory, and so kick you over that 32M
  2. You've got some plugins which have large translation files which are being loaded on the plugins page -- Theres another ticket for that: #7820 (With a stupid reason for closing)
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
