Description

I upgraded a site from WPMU 2.8.4a to 2.8.5.2. Two problems occurred:

  1. /tmp/mysql.sock was corrupted. I removed the file and restarted mysql to fix it.
  2. Once restarted, wp_1_postmeta needed repair. From mysql command line, I ran this to fix: "repair table wp_1_postmeta"

This is not an issue for WordPress, You may report it on the MU trac if you wish.

Neither of your problems sound like they were created by WordPressMU either, sounds like MySQL went down half way through a write.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
