Tested patch on Firefox 3.5. No problems found.

This should be proposed through the UI group then. Re-closing.

The styling here forces the update bar to be anchored to the plugin below it, which messes with the appropriate visual, that is, to be entirely included in a single plugin row. I imagine the UI group would say the same.
