Pingbacks and Trackbacks aren't sent in Wordpress 2.9

Description

I just installed Wordpress 2.9. While the site, forexcrunch.com works well, pingbacks and trackbacks aren't sent: not internally and not externally. I tried many times.
Also post scheduling doesn't work, but I believer that this has already been reported.

Thanks,
Yohay.
