Timezone problem in MU 2.9.1.1

i have been running wordpress mu using a different timezone than the actual time of the server (utc -3). since the upgrade to 2.9.1. i had some issues (comments not working, some plugins not working). this appears to be related to the setting. changing the timezone from utc-3 to "sao paulo" fixed my problems.
