Description

All I can say about this bug is it's odd and I can't pin it to any specific change to configuration settings or plugins.

There are two network blogs: Base and Etc.
http://zgware.com/ (1)
http://zgware.com/etc (2)

If you attempt to access zgware.com you are redirected first to http://zgware.com/etcetera then to http://zgware.com/etc

I'm not seeing any relevant PHP errors and there are no settings I can find in the core blog or network settings that would cause this.

.htaccess has no redirects and this behavior just started with nightly builds over the last 12 hours.

I'm happy to provide any and all needed code to help diagnose. Just let me know what you want to see.

Update: In the main nav menu I'm using page links to to add a link from the primary blog to the second blog (core to etc). I reset that page as a draft to remove it. Now the blog is directing to http://zgware.com/etcetera on its own but 404-ing because the /etcetera slug no longer exists as a page.

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

Corrected. Issue was with Redirection plugin. Somehow a root redirect was inserted for /etcetera/.

Did a search of sql tables and found it. Screenshot attached for those interested. Not a WP core bug. Domo.
