New icon for network menu

Description

The site admin menu icon never really matched core icons. Ben, who made the core icons, mocked up a couple of possibilities for the now-renamed Network menu icon. We though a key would be a good metaphor (keymaster, keys to the kingdom, etc). Attaching image with two directions. Thoughts?

Two possible Network menu icons

#1 @jane

I kind of like the one on the left, since it has multiple keys, implying multiple sites.

#2 @windhamdavid

the keys certainly make more sense than the folder and i side with the multiple keys as well.

#3 @ocean90

I would choose the left icon too but I could also imagine something with a globe(=network).

I like the one on the left as well.

We need also a bigger icon to add it to screen_icon() and icons32.png, so that we can remove the @todo in /wp-admin/includes/template.php line 3801.

Replying to wpmuguru:

It'll need to be added to the menu icon sprite, and also we'll need a larger one for screen icons.

#9 @ocean90

We need also a hover icon.

Who does the menu icon, etc.?

#11 @jane

Ben Dunkle. Pinging him to see about getting new sprite.

#12 @ryan

We need menu.png and icons32.png sprites. site-admin.png should be removed, I think.

Nice icon! Thank you.

I added it to menu.png and icon32.png.
Should we create an icon for the blue style too? At the moment I added the CSS styles to ms.css, if we have both, we can add it to colors_*.css.

Looks good. FYI, I didn't make the blue icons, so I'm not sure how we should handle updates to that set.

Right, that'd be Verena Segert. Jane, are we still in touch with her the way we are with Ben? It'd be cool to have the blue scheme get the same treatment.

I emailed Verena on April 1, but have not heard back from her as yet. If someone wants to just tint Ben's icons blue we should let them. I can post to UI group blog and see if anyone has time. Maybe Gordon, who did the css for the blue admin theme.

Waiting for blue version before committing the rest, as it'll just need to be moved anyway to the color stylesheets.

Thanks empireoflight! They look great. I'll leave it up to Jane what to do if/when Verena gets back to her. Committed this one for now and implemented both.

#24 @jane

I haven't heard from Verena still, and Ben's look great, so let's just stick with those.
