So what you're saying that you'd like to rename the "Hello Dolly" plugin to "Hello Kitty" because it amuses you, since Matt has that power too (ultimate veto in WP commits it seems)?

I see your point, but unfortunately amusement isn't enough of a reason. I'm sure Matt has other reasons for keeping the plugin but one of which is probably amusement too :-)

The real issue here should probably be in another trac ticket, which already exists: ​http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/11538

But as you see, it's listed as wontfix. Plus this trac ticket seems more satirical and hasty :-)
