Editing a custom post type saves as post

Description

When editing a custom post type in Quick Edit or Bulk Edit (possibly in standard edit as well) updating my custom post type results in overwriting the post_type to post.

Example: Publishing the post_type movie saves successfully. Editing a movie and updating saves as post. The only way to get it back to my custom post type is to go into the DB and manually change it.

I can't duplicate your problem either with Quick Edit, Bulk Edit, or Quick Edit.

Try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Ten theme to see if the problem persists.

That should have been:
