Edit Post -> Custom Fields - Input buttons wonky ( #postcustomstuff css declaration negates border-color change on hover.)

"Edit Post -> Permalink buttons (Edit | View Post | Get Shortlink) should be links (or fix line-height, as inline button-links they don't size correctly.)" << They should be links.

The "Add New" buttons next to the screen heading on various screens (eg the Posts, Pages, Links, Media, Users, Plugins screens) use a serif font instead of the standard sans-serif font.

The Appearance screen is inconsistent with other screens due to the introduction of the "Manage Themes / Install Themes" tabs at the top instead of using the "Add New" button (although I realise these have been introduced as a UI experiment, but noting it here anyway).

Password inputs on the Profile or Edit User screen are much smaller than those on the Add New User screen (they could do with being bigger on the former).

Look at how data tables show that a search filter is applied.
On Posts Search results for “bean” appears in the header.
On Plugins Search Results (count) is added to the other text filters
(May eventually get its own ticket)

Another case of should be links, not buttons.

Favorites Menu:
Remove "New Post" (or Page or Media) from list when it is the current screen.

I believe that is already the behaviour in 3.0.

The favorites menu should never lose items. Right now it defaults to edit if you're on the add new screen, but that behavior was a hack that never got fixed. Add New Post should be in menu on every single screen.

Edit Post -> Permalink buttons (Edit | View Post | Get Shortlink) should be links (or fix line-height, as inline button-links they don't size correctly.)
