echo newline correction in wp-includes/template-functions-post.php

Reported by: vroteus's profile vroteus Owned by:
Milestone: Priority: low
Severity: trivial Version: 1.5.1.1
Component: Template Keywords: echo newline

Description

First off, I'm not sure if this is a problem in 1.5.1.1 or not as I am using 1.5.1.2 which was not a choice for this ticket's properties.

WP Version: 1.5.1.2
File: wp-includes/template-functions-post.php
Line: 395
Function: _page_level_out

The output of the function is being built up in the
$output varaible, but line 395 echoes a newline character rather than concatenating it onto the $output string.

Saw #1465 first and submitted to the devs, but I added your name in a comment because you filed this first. I'm just going to close this one as duplicate. Thanks for reporting it!
