Description
Hey, is it that 2010dev.wp.com has a different header image on each page?
This lead me to an idea: I think it'd be awesome if the header loaded a random image each time a page loaded.
Would someone be willing to add this to the theme options so that you can added any number of images (perhaps with a limit, or not) so that the theme will choose randomly from this pool of images so that the user will see cool random photos.
In my case, since it's a skateboarding site, i'd having a whole bunch of different skatebaord related photos for users to feast their eyes on, etc.

2010 is meant to be a simple blog theme that takes advantage of core features, not a framework by itself. This functionality sounds cool, but is plugin territory. If you were suggesting a core feature to randomize header images rather than a theme change, that would be a different feature request, but still probably plugin territory.
Note to @trusktr: "Major" severity is reserved for things that are broken. This is a new feature request, with normal or minor severity.
Twenty Ten uses the post thumbnail of the post, if the thumbnail is large enough.
You should create a child theme that exposes random images and release it. Or maybe a plugin that allows multiple custom header images on rotation. I don't think we would do this for Twenty Ten; it has been shipped and will likely not have any drastic changes to its base functionality such as this.
