get_categories( $args ); - hide_empty true not hide

please change the get_categories( $args ) function for the hide_empty parameter:

hide_empty ---> set to 1 means not to hide empty, please change it to 0

I'm confused by your request.

get_terms() says:

 * hide_empty - Default is true. Will not return empty terms, which means
 * terms whose count is 0 according to the given taxonomy.

hide_empty = true means hide empty. hide_empty = false means don't hide empty.

it is also opposite to wp_list_categories were it works as a normal human beigs expects

like nacin, not sure what you're asking here, If its as I expect, and you want the hide_empty values to be reversed, thats not something we'll change.
Its either that, or you're claiming that "hide_empty = true" currently returns items which are empty, and "hide_empty = false" is returning only non-empty items?
