Description
Well since you said you could not figure out what to put on the personal page... Wouldn't it be right to take the profile information and move it to the personal tab? It seems that they belong together anyways. Perhaps display the number of published articles you have. Just an idea. Low Priority really.

Per discussion with Matt, here is a patch to consolidate profile.php and options-personal.php, sans the statistics bloat suggested above. Please test this patch and get back to me in #wordpress-bugs

Had the patch tested, works, marking squashed and for commit. When the devs commit, don't forget to svn del profile.php and profile-options.php, although I think the patch might handle that, uploading a new patch with the profile and profile-options pages deleted.

Let's keep the profile page and drop Options->Personal. That is, move the personal options into the profile page and remove the Options->Personal page.
Interesting idea. I'd be open to that.
