Description

On this page: <http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas/>

The "let us know here" link at the top gives no function. At the bottom of the page appears to be a header reading "Propose an Idea," but there's nothing below it.

I've tried using Safari, Camino, and even Firefox. I've tried logged in and logged out.

Thank you.

  • Milestone changed from Awaiting Review to WordPress.org

You'll need to log in.

We can probably kill the link (and say you need to login) if you're not logged in.

  • Keywords WordPress feedback form page ideas kvetch forum community votes dead link removed

After investigating several reports of this, I've determined it was due to those members being "inactive" on the ideas site for some reason. I'm looking at the activation code now to figure out what the deal is.

Added the default role code to ideas. That should fix this.

Now when you hit submit in the "Propose an Idea" form it says "You need to actually submit some content!" (and gives you the link back to WordPress Ideas) even if you fill in all the fields of the form. The form is not working on the other pages either.

This should be fixed now due to some of the new SSL fixes I pushed. Nevertheless, if it does happen again, please make a ticket for it over on https://meta.trac.wordpress.org and I'll take a closer look.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
