I am slowly understanding that this feature will not have time to be added to 5.5. As aspects I knew nothing about has come up in the Google Doc shared above.

 So the bottom line is this: We now have a chance to work closer with the privacy team on integrating additional privacy concerns that are associated among other things with the local avatar.  That is how I read it. I think it is a very good idea.
