<code></code> Doesn't react on XP, Chrome v8.

When using <code></code> in Chrome on XP it doesn't react. Just disappears once back on WYSIWYG editor.

When using <code></code> in HTML and changing to WYSIWYG and then publishing <code></code> doesn't react and the code that I want to appear in <code></code> is gone.

HTML editor shows code and Visual editor shows the content as is.
For example, If you write <code>content</code> in HTML mode, visual editor just shows content (with html formatting)
