The current version of TinyMCE is 3.4.3.2 and there would probably be another release before WordPress 3.3 is completed. It would be better to include the latest version of TinyMCE in 3.3.

not sure why i posted 3.4.2.1 but linked to 3.4.3.2
that was the version i meant.

Probably it's worth - as those TinyMCE updates are minor - to pick something up in the 3.2.x lineup. Just for maintenance and for the recent changes in TinyMCE they introduced in the version in core. But that needs some feedback and testing.

The current version is 3.4.4.

Would be nice if we could update TinyMCE now to have enough time to test if all the mentioned bugs are really fixed and if not to contact the TinyMCE devs to have a nice clean version for 3.3. Thoughts?

Replying to ocean90:

We generally try to update TinyMCE few days before the first beta in a release cycle. Then we can include the latest available version and still have enough time to test it well.
