Admin font size too large in Firefox 5.0

Description

A noticeable increase in the font size of non-heading text, as well as text used in buttons in the WP admin was introduced in WP 3.2.1.

This occurs after upgrading from WP 3.2 to WP 3.2.1 in Firefox 5.0 under Ubuntu 11.04. Non-heading text appears larger than in 3.2. Heading text appears to be the same size. Note: the system has Arial installed as this is a new issue from

Viewing the same WP 3.2.1 admin in Chrome (12.0.742.112) displays text at the correct size, as it was pre WP 3.2.1. Side by side comparison shows the non-heading text is larger in Firefox 5.

Affected text includes all non-heading text (button and UI text, menu text, as well as labels and supporting text).

Personally I like the text in FF more. Since 3.2.1 WP uses the default font set in the browser and similar fonts may appear slightly larger or smaller at the same size. Try setting the font in FF.

I guess my biggest issue is that the larger text throws off the sense of hierarchy on the menus (when in collapsed mode) since the menu headings are not bold and are no longer any larger than the menu options.

It also causes some lines to wrap to another line because of the larger text when they did not previously.

I have tried changing the default font size in Firefox. While it does seem to affect some other sites (Google results, for example), it does not have any noticeable bearing on the font size in WP 3.2.1's admin section.

However, I guess I'll get used to it ;)

Not default font size, the default font. Perhaps compare the fonts used in Firefox and Chrome.
