Description
I'm a Mac user, but I'm trying to get WordPress installed on a friend's Windows XP computer. I downloaded, but got a message that I was 585 days beyond the trial periood for the unzipper. It's such a small file, why zip it? Is it available anywhere as a straight download?

WordPress has more than 150 files inside, so at this moment the best way for get it is using ZIP or TAR files.
If you are using Windows XP, open the file with the integrated Windows unzipper (right clic in WordPress ZIP file, go to Open with and search for "zip" beside the other program; I don't have English Windows to tell you exactly where to clic)
