Dashboard home in admin not reporting spam correctly

Description

Under "Discussion" (on the right in the image) it says that there are 0 items in the spam queue. However, underneath that it states that there are 12 items in the queue. When I visit the spam page (/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=spam) there are indeed 12 items in the queue.

Not sure how to replicate this as I haven't touched any of the core code.

  • Keywords reporter-feedback added; ui-feedback removed

Try disabling all plugins, including Akismet.

What happens if you delete one of the spam comments?

I tried deleting a spam comment first. That didn't work.

I then disabled all the plugins. That brought it back in sync.

I've now enabled all the plugins that (I think) I had before. It still seems to be in sync.

Sounds like it's a plugin conflict. Closing ticket; if problem persists and troubleshooting shows it not to be plugin, feel free to re-open.
