Description

I'm stuck using IE for the majority of my WP work right now. Currently the new pointers have no functioning close button in IE7, thus, no way of dismissing.

Limiting width of close buttons to 350px

In IE8 with compatibility view on, with 18917.patch applied, I am seeing a really wide pointer box (ref 18917.ie-big-width.png). 18917.ie-width.patch will limit this to 350px, which is roughly equivalent to the computed style in Chrome.

The closing tag was fixed in [18970]. The pointer has become super-wide in IE7 though (see the screenshot), with no text at all. Probably due to [18969].
