Unfortunately, this fix hasn't changed anything for me on IE7. My menus are still behind everything else, and unusable.

ON a plus side, the other issue with the uploader is fixed.

Hmm, that's what I see on IE7 after [18958]:

Could you please verify it's not a caching issue?

Just went in and cleared out everything, then restarted browser. My display is still exactly as above unfortunately.

Possibly some other info. Should I see a 'screen options' menu anywhere? I can't find it. I was going to turn the red warning box back on, as its on in your image.... to see if its specific to certain areas of the screen. But I can't find the options to do so.

Also, on certain pages, such as the post editor screen, I have absolutely no flyout functionality at all. Should I on that screen?

It's under the Help tab.

Seems to be working on my install.

I thought it was under the help tab. I don't have anything under my help tab! No dropdown or anything. I'm going to do a full wipe and reinstall of db and files, just to make sure nothing is going on on my end. I'v emanually reinstalled teh files about 5 times now, but I really want to make sure before I keep reporting things.

OK, full complete wipe and reinstall.

I got the screen options back, they actually worked, just not non the 'add new' post editor screen. Still no flyouts on the add new post page. Something I noticed prior to reinstalling I was hoping the reinstall would fix.

I have no post editor buttons on the add new screen. Nothing responds on the add new screen. The help menu won't work, no flyouts, I can't add media, etc. So I think I may need to generate another ticket around that, the whole add new screen is busted for me.

But back to the issue at hand, the flyouts are stll layered behind everything else for me on the remaining screens.

Sounds like something is going wrong with the package (the extracted .zip) or the install. Perhaps try downloading another .zip, unzipping it in a new folder and delete wp-admin and wp-includes before uploading again.

OK, To be fair, I've manually reinstalled about 6 times now. With the last being a full wipe to include DB.

This time I did just as suggested. removing wp-admin, wp-includes. Deleted those 2 from my server. DL a fresh copy of the latest. rearchive just those 2 folders, and re-up.

Cleared all browser cache, files, etc. Logged off Wp, shut down browser.

Upon re-entry, same problem. Flyouts are behind everything. And on add new post screen, I have no editor, and flyouts + help dropdown, along with add media are all unresponsive.

http://pastebin.com/PNakKNik is a pastebin of my output if it helps anything

cdn.rvoodoo.com is the actual test install, in case that helps anything

Thank you for the attention on this thus far!

DL a fresh copy of the latest.

Note that current nightly build doesn't contain [18958] yet. The next one should.

In the meantime, you can check out the latest code from SVN: http://wordpress.org/download/svn/

Head->Desk!

Just finished updating the affected files. Flyouts are good to go! Thank you much, excellent stuff!

Works everywhere except my post editor page, where nothing is working right. However, I believe that is for a different ticket.

Am I supposed to mark this fixed? (If not, feel free to educate me!!)

Fixed is probably not the right thing, "worksforme" would be better :)
