Description
Right now there is no way to add a featured image to a post via xmlrpc. Since featured image got more and more important, I think this should be an option.
Also, since 3.1.3 when is_protected_meta was introduced, there is no way to set up a featured image via the custom_fields hack, because you can no longer set up _thumbnail_id
