Description

This ticket may be irrelevant depending upon how WordPress allows meta items to be written in the head.

First, check out this thread.

http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-typography-this-plugin-can-cause-errors-in-the-head-when-wp_head-writes-link-elements?replies=5#post-2427673

Many plugins are writing meta tags to the head with attributes that contain html. If this is being done by the WP core then html could be stripped before printing these to avoid the errors. If not, it must be fixed in the individual plugins and this doesn't matter.

Thanks.

  • Resolution set to invalid

This isn't a bug in core. The wp-typography plugin is indiscriminately filtering get_bloginfo calls (which is what feed_links() uses to generate the link tags) and adding the invalid HTML. That said, this filter looks to have been removed since version 2.0.2 of the plugin (quite a while ago), so perhaps you just need to upgrade.
