Description
When using the HTML uploader, the switch message says, "You are using the browser uploader. Try the multi-file uploader instead." That's kind of confusing, since it's not just for multi-file uploads. Before the new uploader, that text used to read, "You are using the browser uploader. Try the Flash uploader instead." Am assuming the language is meant to be versatile so that it can apply whether someone gets plupload or Flash, but it's unclear.
Can we change this to say something like, "You are using the browser's built-in file uploader. The new WordPress uploader includes multiple file selection and drag and drop capability. <link>Switch to the new uploader</link>."
And if they're going to get the old Flash one show them the old Flash-specific language?
Doable?

Try the Flash uploader instead.
At the moment it's Plupload (HTML5, Flash, Silverlight) or HTML4, not directly Flash.

"multiple file selection and drag and drop capability" - any hyphens desired there? Is "capability" a modifier of "multiple file selection," in which case should it be "capabilities"?
Would like to see the word "new" disappear. If not now, then we need to make a ticket and ensure it happens in 3.4.
